Koko is a chocolate stout brewed in in collaboration with River-Sea Chocolate Factory, the new next-door neighbor to Ono Brewing Company in Chantilly, VA. Kokoleka means “chocolate” in Hawaiian. Chocolate is one of Hawaii’s most delicious but unknown export products. Koko was brewed with cacao husks and nibs provided by River-Sea that originated from Ecuador.

Draft pour at Ono Brewing Company. Poured a very dark brown color with a small white head. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, some rich malt notes. Smooth and pretty easy to drink.
