$3.49 bottle, TWG. Slightly hazy gold, some floaters, white head. Smells like a cheap lager with a hint of citrus. Flavor is bitter citrus peel, honey, yeast, chalk. Dry, somewhat unpleasant.

Nice, slightly deep copper coloured body with a raw honey glow and a very thin, relatively large bubbled tan head that fades very quickly. Aroma of pure grape must, oak, dry grain and hay with a little dash of grass and some funk at the tail end. Medium-bodied; Deep effervescent profile at first that shows a dry oaky and pure crisp, biscuity bite, with a light dose of sugars, mainly from the fruit, but also a touch of honey noticeable at the end, with a bit of alcohol and some funk at the very tail end. Aftertaste is clean, very drying from the oak and light malts, but also from the grasses, yeast and especially the grape must, but all is quite strong throughout. Overall, a deep and pungent beer with a very dry profile with some light sweetness from the grapes, but shows more nicely as a saison than a 'brut' IPA, but good to try, none-the-less. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 05-April-2019 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington, a few blocks away, on 03-June-2019.

Draft pour at Mustang Sally Brewing Company. Poured a clear medium-dark yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was light champaigne, light citrus. Kind of like a mimosa. Dry finish.
