Pint from the Ale House Reading. Deep reddish chestnut colour with an off white head, aroma of malt with some chocolate, similar taste. Pleasant.

Cask @ GBBF 2011. Pours a dark brown color with no head. Has a fruity malty dark fruity and caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel and chocolate flavor with hints of dark fruit. Has a fruity malty dark fruit and caramel finish.

GBBF. Cask. Clear brown beer. Dry palate. Ok brown malts. Reasonable well balanced with some tangy fruits. Quite a bitter aftertaste. Ok.

Cask @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear dark brown colour with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. [20110803]

Cask @ GBBF, 2011. Pours black with no head. Vague roast, coffee, ashes and fruit. Smooth. Tasty.

Cask@GBBF2011. Quite much black colour, not much head. Aroma is liquorice, wood and some mild raisins as well. Flavour is toasted malts, mild roasted notes, some slight wooden and sweet malty notes.
