Sampled on draft at Hugo's this beer poured a bright yellow-gold color with a large foamy off white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was vinegar, cucumber and salt. The flavor was cucumber, cantaloupe, vinegar and salt. Long finish. Medium body.

Sampled from the tap at Happy Gnome. Pours a clear yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of cucumber with a bit of honeydew and straw underlying. Flavor combines cucumber and honeydew with a grain backbone.

Draft pour at Dogfish's Falls Church Alehouse. Poured a nice yellow-hued orange color with a small off-white head. Very mild aroma, maybe served too cold or just one of those beers that needs to warm up just a bit. Very light cucumber water aroma comes through on this one. Other than that, it doesn't smell a whole lot like anything. Flavor is an immediate blast of cucumber with a little follow up of cantelope. Just okay. Needs a bit more dry character that I would expect from a Saison to really bring it to the next level.
