Taster at the Carter Payne. Pours a dark, ruby color, with a small, beige head. The aroma is tobacco, brown bread, almonds, and lime peel. Dry, sharp, and mildly bitter. Medium body, with a sharp, astringent mouthfeel. This is a funky and fruity beer. Pretty nice.
