Deep golden yellow color. Slightly cloudy. Large foam that slowly settles. The scent is similar to a geuze. Sour, unripe apples, wet straw and damp wood. The flavor surprises with a plant juice, strive bitterness, a citrus bitterness is there as well, which I understand from yucun. Dry tight, a little peppery, grassy. resembles a little Nils Oscars 15th anniversay. Maybe a little too bitter for the style and my preferences.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 25.07.2012
Aroma is very close to a urinal cake with soapy citrus and solvent. Flavour is also close to urinal cake with soapy citrus, bubblegum-like mint and some spices. Not your typical saison, rather unique stuff. The saison yeast is present however.

Bottle at home. hzy orange, large offwhite bubbly head. The beer foamed over when I opened it, but only slightly. spicy, belgian yeasty aroma, slighlty sweeter than expected, citrussy notes. flavor is dry, spicy, lots of belgian yeast , a little sweetness, in fact quite dry, but somehow still mild and sweet subtle notes. Yeasty, dry and bitter saison.

Bottle bought @ Ølbutikken and consumed on October 16. Pours hazy reddish yellow with a big white head that slowly dissipates leaving some trace on the glass. Smell is bread, rye, lemon zest, yeast and has a slight tartness to it. There’s also a tingling spicy sensation. Taste is sweet, dry and fruity. It’s dominated by yeast and bread but there’s also some pepper, cilantro and sweet fruits like plum and mango. There’s lots going on. Finish is dry and slightly spicy and bitter and doesn’t linger for long. Has this with Danish blue cheese which was very nice.
