33cl bottle courtesy of Joes. Clear yellow / golden color, average sized white head that leaves a fine lacing. Smell malts, herbs, spices, some sourness. Taste malts, sourness, herbs or spices which I think is rosemary. Average carbo and body.

7/II/2012 - 33cl bottle from Nel Buco del Mulo (Roma) @ home - BB: 23/VII/12 (2012-111)
Clear orange beer, (bit of a gusher), aery off-white head, adhesive, bit stable. Aroma: bretta nose, smelly even, peppery, urine, rotten fruits. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus at first, then overripe fruits, herbal notes, pretty spicy. Aftertaste: rotten fruits (or is that yuzu? I've never eaten yuzu, so I wouldn't know), citrus, grapefruits, sour bretta touch and a bitter herbal ending.

"Purchased this at Hunger Mountain Co-Op in Monteplier Vermont around the 1st of January. Paid about $6 for it. Served into a Riedel Snifter at 40 Degrees F
A - Poured vigorously and produced a 3 finger creamy colored head. The beer itself is a very light shade of amber..almost looks like a darker lager with lots of bubbles rising to the top. There’s no sediment or debris at all.
S - Oh man. Alright, this is one of the top tempting beers by way of smell. It’s just begging to be consumed. It’s a strawberry or kiwi scent very classic Saison but with a peppery spice that hits the back of my throat via the nostrils. I’m getting a lot of apricot as well. Smells fantastic!
T - Is this a cup of iced Earl grey? That’s what this tastes like. After swallowing the spicy pepper flavor does hit hard like I just cracked open a peppercorn with my teeth but the start is this creamy almost tea like texture with a delicious apricot and mango start. For 7% ABV, I don’t taste any beer or alcohol at all. This is all fruity tea like an unsweetened bottle of Snapple.
M - This is a medium-bodied beer with a nice mouthfeel of carbonation and spice. The flavor isn’t too pronounced though on the finish. It fades pretty quickly.
O - Given the very low amount of reviews for this beer and the limited brewed-once aspect of this, I’m really astonished I found this beer in a grocery store. It’s a great Saison beer and one that I’d love to have again but never will. If you see this, pick up a bottle."

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 01/20/2012. Pours a hazy orange color with a medium thick off-white head that dissipates slowly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Citrus, spice and flowers in the nose. Medium body with a barnyard-esque character and notes of peppery yeast and citrus, The finish is spicy with an herbal and fruity aftertaste. Above average overall.

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with huge frothy stable white head. Aroma is very spicy, with citrus and brett. Taste begins likely. Finish is Thai-food like, with lots of coriander. Lasting pepper aftertaste. Good.

Location: Draft at Blind Tiger, 1/2/12, My First rating of 2012 will double as my 2012th rating
Aroma: The aroma has some strong spice noters (pepper, ginger, etc.), yeast, brett, and hops
Appearance: It pours a bright golden-orange color with a frothy white head and mid-heavy lace
Flavor: The flavor is yeasty and spicy, it is light-mid sweet and medium bitter, with a spice and brett finish
Palate: The body of this one is medium, with a tingly mouthfeel, and it has a fairly long, spicy finish to it
Overall Impression: So, I know I made 2011 my last rating of 2011 and now I'm making 2012 my first one of 2012, but I won't be waiting until next year to add rating 2013. This is a solid saison for sure. It has a subtle brett presence that adds a nice component, and I thought it worked pretty well.
