Keg at Craft. Cloudy pale yellow colour with small thin white head. Looks exactly how you would expect a saison to look. Aroma is slightly herbal, bit spicy, lots of yeast and a bit of funk too. Also peach and mango. Very fruity. Taste adds a touch of bubblegum, bit of citrus. Nice and crisp with a lovely mild hoppy bitterness. Something else in there too, which after reading the description must be the special ingredients. Very nice.

33cl Bottle via trade with Plovmand, thanks bro! BB date 07-2012. Hazy golden colour, big white head. Aroma of lots of Brett, funk, poo, a little sour, overripe tropical fruits, citrus. Flavour is light tart, lots of Brett again, citrus, light malty, floral, fruity, dry malty bitter finish with some yeasty notes. Light-bodied. Nice.

Bottle at my Pre-CBC Tune-Up Tasting. It pours golden yellow, with a decent white head. The nose is spice (particularly ginger and pepper), farmyard, floral and hay. The taste is ginger, pepper, hay, citrus pith, grapefruit, sweet fruit, herbal, alcohol warmth and floral, with a spicy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. An interesting take on the saison style.

Bottle at the CBC Tune-Up, London. Pours hazy yellow, well-carbonated with a moderate, fine white foam. Spicy nose, plenty of brett, light grass and lemon. Medium sweet with some dry grass, crisp brett, light yeast, light dough. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Mild dry finish, some grassy bitterness, fairly sweet, a bit of pepper, lightly musty. Very nice.
