Belgian Blonde Ale brewed with classic Abbey Ale yeast strain. Saturated with Citra and Horizon hops, this new world hopping interpretation leaves a tart, spicy, and low-bitterness drinking experience still true to style Belgian Blonde, with plenty of body and balance.

Can from Tavour. Pours translucent gold with a large foamy white head that laced a bit. Aroma of earth/citrus/yeast/spice. Med body. Malty but towards dry. Bitter. Flavor is yeast/spice, citrus, banana notes, pale malt. Seems earthy with time. Excellent ale.

Can - lightly hazy gold - the citra hops are actually what hit to nose first, so for a quick sec I thought, “did I just open one of their ipas instead?” - but some clove and pepper yeast character quickly follow - a bit syrupy and heavy for the style, with some baked apple and pear, followed by some quasi-messy yeast phenolics that get quite spicy near the finish, as the hop character swells I’m behind it - some background starchy character - overall a little messy and far too sweet.

Draft at the brewhouse. Opaque yellow apple sauce color. Ugly pour. Decent lacing. Has the typical Belgian yeast sour-ish flavor. No thanks. At least the ABV is well hidden.

Taste on draft at Trail's End. Pours a hazy, bright yellow, with a big, frothy, white head. The aroma is wet grass, bread dough, white sugar, honeysuckle, and sawdust. Sweet and a bit yeasty, with a mild bitterness. Light to medium body, with a chewy, very lively mouthfeel. This is a light, crisp beer, with some great hop aromatics and yeast character.
