Taster at the Carter Payne. Pours an dull, murky, brownish-orange color, with a small, cream head. The nose is orange peel, cloves, rye bread, resin, and dusty pollen. Dry, and harshly bitter. Medium body, with a hard, astringent mouthfeel. This is nicely aromatic, but it's too dry and harsh.
