(bottle) Cloudy, amber colour with a big and firm off-white foamy head. Mildly yeasty, wheat- and cara-malty aroma with present fruity notes of banana, apricots and citrus, backed by mildly phenolic spices. Moderately sweet and slightly sour-tart flavour, almost full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Creamy wheaty taste with caramel and juicy fruity notes, which linger into the warming and slightly tart finish. 04.II.14

Bottle: Orangey-amber coloured, big and very stable rocky off-white head, moderate sweet-yeasty nose with a background of dried fruits, caramel with a touch of cinnamon; medium to full bodied, soft, moderate to solid sweet flavour accompanied by a delicate sourness; quite solid sweet and slightly bitter finish with a fruity and yeasty touch. bottle from Bierzwerg. Cloudy golden-brown, creamy beige head. Fruity nose. Full-bodied, malty and wheaty with a yeasty touch, lots of fruit and spices. Plums, dried dates and figs, hints of caramel and some shy aromatic hops. Smooth and velvety palate. Perfectly balanced, flavours are also perfectly supported by the smooth carbonation.

Nice orange in the glass, white head. The beer starts malty, smooth. Nice yeast-aromatic: Clove, Banana. The mainpart is not too sweet, but nicely yeasty, very smooth. The 8% are not noticeable. The aftertaste is long, fruity, very smooth.

500 ml bottle, at Melkebaren, Sandnes - very reasonably priced by Norwegian standards. ABV is 8%. Cloudy deep golden to orange colour, large white head. Strong sweetish aroma of cloves, over-ripe bananas and honey. Fairly sweet (maybe too sweet?) flavour with the same elements as in the aroma, hardly any bitterness. Quite enjoyable though.

26/02/2013 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Ambrata intensa con riflessi color miele, torbida, schiuma bianco sporca venata giallognola, non molto persistente. Al naso sentori di malto, caramello, esteri (banana), non male. In bocca è dolce, caramello, zucchero di canna, frutta matura, lieviti. Corpo pieno, spesso, carbonazione leggera. Discreta, gradevole e ben fatta.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.[ Courtesy of æHD’er ]. Murky - muddy matt medium to dark amber orange colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, light wheat, moderate to light light heavy yeasty, fruity, banana, yeast. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, ripd fruit, sweet fruit, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20121012]
