Keg at the brewery tap. Pours hazy yellow with a lasting, creamy white head. The aroma holds spicy saison yeast, dried herbs, wheat flakes, zesty lemon. Light sweet flavour with some pale grains, more green herbs, hay, citrus peel, pale bread, a little alcohol. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more spicy saison yeast, pale grains, lemon zest, a little white pepper, dried wheat flakes. Novel beer. Not bad.

Taster at Brix. Pours a clear, pale yellow color, with a medium, white head. The aroma is some light cream, lemon juice, ginger, and lots of cloves. Sugary sweet, with an acrid bitterness. Light body, sticky, and a little astringent. This is an interesting beer, but it’s very light and nondescript, with a pretty poor flavor.

Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/25/2017. Hazy straw color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lace. Aroma of citrus, green tea and yeast. Medium body with flavors of green tea, earthy yeast, citrus and malt. The finish is herbal yeast and green tea. Decent overall.
