Pint at the brewpub. The color is a nice, hazy brown, with a big, fluffy, tan head. The aroma is caramel, light cloves, whole grain bread, raisins, and ripe apple. Mild sweetness, very light bitterness, and generally balanced and mellow. Light to medium body, smooth and malty. This is a nicely done Oktoberfest; easy drinking, great balance, and just enough complexity in the aroma to make it interesting.
