Sample in a flight at the Craft Growler Shop. Dark, copper color, with a small, beige head. Nose is oak, vanilla, light cherries, strong cardamom, and a light herbal note. Very sweet, with a touch of balancing bitterness. Heavy body, syrupy, a little clingy, and sticky. Overall, this is a nice, well balanced Belgian style, and the bourbon treatment isn’t too overpowering.
