On tap in a flight at the brewpub. Pours a light, clear gold, with a small ring of white lacing. Heavy savory, floral notes up front, with some pine, hay, and undertones of citrus and rye. Medium bitterness, with a cereal sweetness. Medium body, sticky, watery, and a little acidic. Overall, this is a mediocre beer, with a weak body. Not light enough to really accent the lavender or honey. It seems like it was supposed to be a pale ale or IPA, but it’s missing the hops.
