22 oz. bottle shared at First Sunday. Black pour, with a small, tan head. The aroma is new oak, syrup, caramel, and coffee. Negligible bourbon notes. Sweet and malty, with a dry finish. Medium body, smooth, and clean. Overall, this is a weak stout base, with very little added from the bourbon barrel treatment.
