Sample at the Secret Stash Bash. Pours black, with a small, brown head. The aroma is milk chocolate, strong tangerines and orange peels, oak, vanilla, and some herbal notes. The flavor is very strong and sweet, with a little bitterness. Very well balanced, doesn’t have the typical burnt flavor. I could detect very little of the alcohol, which is very impressive. The palate is very heavy, a little astringent, with a clean finish. Overall, this is an astoundingly good beer. The flavors work well together, and it is dangerously drinkable.
