Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. A clear pale amber pour with a loose white head; floral aroma with a trace of pepper; fruity taste, melon and citrus to start; and then a sharp grapefruit bitterness emerges leaving a long clean finish. Light, refreshing and really good. An interesting comparison to the Brave Four Point in the current JDW festival. This clearly shows the effect of adding a decent quantity of hops!
