Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear, amber-brown with a creamy, light beige head. The aroma is fairly tame, just some burnt toast. Light to medium sweet flavor with some tangy wood, dried berries, hints of cocoa. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, some further lightly tangy dark berries, wood, leather. Nothing special.

on tap-pours a tan head and deep ruby red color. Aroma is whisky, wood, medium/dark malt-molasses. Taste is whisky, wood, medium/dark malt-molasses. Peat. Easy. Approximately Lexington Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale with a bit more body.
