Cask at the Golden Retreiver, Bracknell. Pale gold with a tight cream head; malty aroma; digestive biscuit flavour; and lightly bitter to finish. A traditional English Pale Ale - not very seasonal!

Cask at the Antelope, Tooting, London on 28th May 2011. Clear copper with part lacing white foam ring. Fruity aroma. Delicate yet rich liquid with fruitiness and floral hop, nuttiness, vanilla touch and some citric grapefruit on the tongue. Increasingly bitter, lengthy finish. Zingy mouthfeel. Satisfying, more-ish session ale, very well-kept by the pub. RE-RATING MARCH 2014: Cask at the Ice Wharf Wetherspoon’s, London on 6th March 2014. Copper with thin off-white lacing foam. Malty aroma with nutty, savoury notes. Malty and nutty in-mouth with delicate bitterness, and a bittersweet finish. Solid body and engaging texture. Again well-kept.
