Cask at Stortford Beer Festival 2011. An amber beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of cherries and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and cherries, as well as light notes of caramel, leading to a dry cherry finish. I find it boring.

Cask (handpump) @ British Legion Club, 28 Windhill, Bishops Stortford, England CM23 2NG.Clear medium amber with a light red hint colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, cherry, fruity - berry, artificial cherry, butter and almond notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, cherry, earthy, artificial. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110729]

Cask from the pub where the Stortford Beer Festival is held. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is cherries, wood, some floral notes as well as some mild notes of cherry pips. Flavour is cherries, some floral notes and mild notes of nuts as well.

Cask at the Bridge, Kingswinford. Pours orange with a red tinge and a creamy, medium head. Aroma is cherry yoghurt and strawberry seeds. Taste had cherries to start and a plain, yoghurt finish. Watery.
