A medium bodied malt profile with hints of roast interplays with the hop profile of citrus and dried red berries from the double dry hop of El Dorado, Centennial and Mosaic.

16oz can. Poured a dark cola color with a medium sized light tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, pleasant hop. No burnt hops or earthy, old hop taste that you often get with black IPAs. Pine finish. Wish there were more like this.

Can thanks to Andrew. Pours a dark brown hue with a medium beige head. A big nose of chocolate and citrus. A bit porter forward, chocolate, ash, roast, but a robust fresh hop bite, some bitterness. Flavorful, some metallic bitterness. Good. I love CDAs.

16oz can pours a watery dark brown with a big cap of beige head. Nose is what you expect from a black IPA, there's roasted malt and some caramel then plenty of leafy notes, C hops. Flavor has some misplaced fruit that isn't citrus. The soap and pine then come and are met with a butterscotch backbone. Medium bodied, fairly dry finish.

Light roast, some mosaic but that comes weird on a black IPA. Tang. Something off with the malt. Black pour with decent head. A hint of licorice. Can.
