Bottle at tasting. Aroma of rich chocolate, bourbon booze, coconut, ripe fruit and malt. Taste has rich chocolate, earthy coconut, buffalo trace, ripe fruit, figs, dates, booze, malt, vanilla, caramel and a long rich boozy finish. Delicious.

Bottle shared. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aromas of coconut, vanilla, fudge, milk chocolate. Taste has lots of coconut, vanilla, milk chocolate, fudgey notes, light bitterness, coffee like roasty notes, light boozy heat.

Power tasting at Erik's, release 2016
Pitch black. Intense aroma of chocolate and coconut, with a finish of bourbon. Full bodied; strong flavour of dark chocolate, coconut; it's sweet, with distinct bourbon notes, alcohol warmth, a bit of tar.
Excessive, but the elements come together very well. Excellent.

Barrel-aged beer rating #1000. 500ml bottle at Erik's. Vintage 2016. Appearence: oily, very dark brown with a weak dark brown head Aroma: bourbon bomb, vanilla, cocoa, very nice Taste: similar, very rich and quite sweet Overall: good one!

Dark brown. Not much head. This has a really nice, rich molasses, almost smoky, light cacao. On the palate, it's quite sweet, with a lovely bourbon note and lots of coconut, very chocolatey, maybe vanilla. Quite rich, full flavoured. Nice balance, too, and a lot of coconut.

Taster, many thanks to Werckmeister! Black body, with a small, creamy coffee-colored head. Beautiful aroma of melting dark chocolate, bourbon, coconut, coffee, vanilla. Tastes quite similar, with a bit more roast, moderate booze. Full, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes warm, dry, medium roasty, moderate sweet, wooden, with bourbon, cocoa powder, tobacco, coffee, coconut, slight creamy chocolate. Delicous! Very creamy, while also robust, with sweet and roasty notes greatly balanced. Especially the nose is amazing, so smooth and rich. Another outstanding BA Imperial Stout by BL! 0,5l bottle at home. Vintage 2018. black color, small coffee colored head. smells of coconut, bourbon, cocoa, some vanilla, wood, bitter chocolate, some cinnamon. very nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of coconut, cinnamon, light vanilla, spices, light bourbon, cocoa, earthy. finishes light to medium sweet with notes of coconut, bourbon and vanilla. quite good one, quite heavy, rather on the sweet side.

Bottle, courtesy of Mats, thanks! 2018 release. Pours like black oil. Aroma is chocolate, caramel candy, vanilla, bourbon. Body is heavy and strong, super intense, lots of Bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, coconut indeed. Molasses, sweet and smooth and oily. Amazing coconut sauce, intense but balanced. Great!

Bottle, many thanks Mats! Black color with dark beige head. Aroma is chocolate, coconut, chocolate cake, vanilla. Taste is all the chocolate cake goodness, with great vanilla oak flavours, with a thick coconut taking over in the back. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Fantastic!
