Betsy, our foeder fermented Italian-style Pilsner is the “sister” beer to Lillie, our flagship pils. Betsy is brewed with our well water, Chesapeake-grown barley, and lightly dry hopped with noble German hops. She was both fermented and lagered in our American oak foeder to enhance depth and softness.

16oz can pours a clear gold with some frothy, white head. Nose has flowers, grist, home, some lemon-lime. Flavor is grist and dough and honey and flowers. Off dry finish.

From a pint can. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Aromas are light grains. Flavors are very slight tart with some sweetness but overall dry. Decent.

A little oak adds a decent kick to this. Pleasant summer beer. Golden pour with decent head. Pretty crisp on the finish. Tap at brewery.

Draft pour at Landmade. Poured a clear golden yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was super crisp, with some woodsy notes. Sweet, light grains, some herbal notes, grassy. Pleasant.
