Cachito is a new collaboration with our friendly neighbors Jasper Yeast. This 4.9% cripsy was conceived as a counterpoint to our autumnal amber lager Qué Rico. Like that beer, Cachito showcases Jasper Yeast’s super clean Mexican Lager strain. But here we’ve let it shine across a simple canvas of pilsner malt, Tuxpeño corn, and a kiss of Vienna — all sourced again from North Carolina’s incomparable Epiphany Craft Malt.

Hold the citrus wedges. We hopped Cachito entirely with Motueka, a New Zealand varietal known for its distinct lime character.

While some may think this pale Mexican lager is destined for beach houses and river tubes, we actually brewed it so we could bring something special to Human Robot’s Logjammin’ Lager Fest this weekend. If you’ll be there too, come have one with us.

Draft at B Side. Poured a clear yellow color with a big fluffy white head. Aroma was big crisp lager yeast notes. Very light toast, with plenty of grass. Pleasant.
