The Giant Peach is an 8.3% DIPA brewed with over 800lbs of summer's favorite fruit! Carefully selected hop additions enhance peach flavors while providing complementary herbal and floral notes and a hidden bitterness.

Semi-sweet and with a full body, this beer drinks like peach juice, but has the audacity to be an IPA. Plus, for the first time ever, an Alewerks beer has a scratch-and-sniff label! When you make a peach beer, if the label doesn't smell like a peach, did it even happen?

Pint can thanks to hershiser2! 5/8/23. Looks gross. Not going to finish this. Alewerks you need to focus on the game and not the gimmick. It's pale amber, murky, because there's literal peach puree coming through. Thin tan head, average retention. Aroma of peach (no shit), pine, resin, pale malt. Taste is pine, resin, peach, hint of lime. Thin and chunky. Not a fan, at all. At least there's some bitterness. I'm guessing this is my lowest Alewerks rating. I'm still a fan of theirs, but, strike one.

Super hazy and murky copper, light straw and deep, yes, peach coloured body with a thinnish, one to two centimetre tall off-white head that fades quickly, but leaves a small lace on the sides of the glass. Aroma of peaches, of course, with more apricot and plum notes, but a good deal of sugar and wheated malt throughout, with some hop bitterness noticeable in the nose, but much more of the fruits. Medium to Full-bodied; Very strong peach and apricot flavours at first with a rich malt body and a lot of sugars here that makes this taste more like a fruit beer with a lot of rich malts and the hops with some very light bitterness only show at the very end. Aftertaste shows a lot of the rich malts again, but at the finished, they are balanced quite nicely with the pungent apricots and peach notes with again, only a light hit of bitterness from the hops. Overall, a quite nice beer that tastes much closer to a fruit beer that has reached Imperial Status due to the richness of the malts than an IPA altogether. Great to sample super fresh and local! I sampled this sixteen ounce pint-sized can purchased from Trader Joe's in Falls Church (Skyline), Virginia on 25-August-2022 for US$3,50, canned on 15-June-2022 and sampled in my hotel room here in Parsippany, New Jersey on 02-September-2022.

$3.50 pint can, TJs. Golden-orange with a shit ton of chunks of peach floating about, white head. I might be able to eat this with a spoon. Peach, floral hops, pine, orange peel nose. Bitter peach, orange peel, pine, floral hops. Bitter, not sweet.

16oz can. Poured with the opacity of mango juice. Huge peach aroma, resin. Flavor was big fruity peaches, some herbal notes. Really juicy. I really liked this one, it went down a bit smoother than I would have thought it would given the ABV.
