Tap at the brewpub. Beer in the glass light golden, nice head. Starts mild, malty. Shy spicy touch. Some wheaty notes as well. Not much bitter notes. Finish well balanced. Average.

Bottle at home. Pours an yellow color with white head and a floral aroma. There is a robust light malt flavor with a light sour finish.

25-01-19 // taster at Internationale Grüne Woche - Messe Berlin. Clear golden. White head. Grainy, light bodied. Solid but boring.

Draught. Lemon gold with a full head, aroma is dusty grain. Flavour is grainy malty, yeast on a cloudy finish.

Vom Faß im Brauhaus Wittenberg. - Helles Goldgelb, leicht trüb. - In der Nase Hefe, süßliches helles Malz, eher schroffer grasiger Hopfen. - Antrunk mild hefig, leicht malzsüß und etwas teigig mit unrunden, grasig-unreifen Hopfenaromen. Etwas zu rezent für den dünnen Körper. Im Abgang kräftige Bittere, leider ohne jegliche feine Hopfenaromen. Längerer bitterer Nachtrunk. - Typisches unausgereiftes Gasthausbrauereien-Erzeugnis, zwar etwas kräftiger gehopft als andere aber ebenso plump und belanglos. Lohnt die Fahrt nicht.

Hell getreidiger, rustikal herber Beginn, etwas bitter im Hintergrund. Leider war es das im Großen und Ganzen mit Aromen, das Bier bleibt auf diesem Level und hat höchstens noch hintergründige Hopfen Noten zum Ende. Ok. 11/9/8/9//9

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours hazy light straw with stable white head. Clear aroma of hops, yeast and malt. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of yeast and needles. Rough aftertaste. An OK beer, actually better than most "Originals" found in the brewpubs of Northern and Central Germany.

Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass, fruity. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fresh, malty.
