Keg at Papiermühle, Jena. Clear golden, mid sized head. Grassy buttery nose. Dry with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Grassy hops, crisp-ish bready malt. Mid bitter finish.

Draft at the source while dining in the garden. Clear yellow color fluffy white head. Black pepper aroma. Taste is dusty and peppery hay, straw.

The wife and I stayed here overnight on 9th May 2017 and I obviously had all five of their beers that were on tap that evening: this being the first. Slight haze to the golden pour, full white head that lasted a while, sat on top. Fairly sweet, in fact honey sweet to me. Decent enough, my sweet tooth liking the grainy/malty feel to the brew.

Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, grass, straw and hops.

Tap @ Braugasthof Papiermühle. Clear yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 290715

Draught at the brauhaus
Hazy blond color with generous creamy head. Delicate and nice aroma, cereals. Mild malt flavor, with light residual sweetness, but also a trace of butter; ordinary bitterness, without much hop quality.
Pleasant, bout could aim higher.

Draught @ Brauereigasthof Papiermuhle, Erfurter Strasse 102, Jena, Thuringia, Germany 07743.Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, fruity, citrus notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, malty, sweet grassy - malt, fruity, fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110709]

Sehr getreidiger Geruch. Hopfig-getreidiger Antrunk, herber werdend. Hopfi-herber Mittelteil, weiter sehr getreidig, harmonisch. Im Abgang etwas bitter, dies ebbt allerdings schnell ab. Es bleibt die harmonische Getreidigkeit. Test vom 11.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,9,10,10,11,9 - 9,40

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Hoppy and zippy aroma. Starts modest spicy, good use of hops. Finish a little bit grasy. Not bad!
