This beer is a massive tribute to our 25 years of brewing. 25 is a strong ale- aged in bourbon barrels and then finished in Rye barrels to add incredible complexity to this layered, extreme beer. With notes of toffee, caramel, vanilla and earthy hops, this beer is as ambitious as starting a craft brewery in 1995 was. Working from the very beginning allowed us to find out exactly who we are and who we've become over 25 years. We've never been afraid to push the limits of brewing. We've never been timid in our flavor. We've never had to listen to anyone tell us what to do. And because of you, we have stood the test of time. Thank you.

Hazy dark amber body small foamy off white head. Big caramel fruity aroma. Big caramel fruity toffee flavor. Full body low carbonation. 7/4/8/3/15 3.7

16oz can pours an oily brown, no head. Nose doesn't hint at the booze, rye, brown sugar, Armagnac. Flavor has malt and corn and booze, brown sugar. Full bodied, boozy finish.

Can at the June DC Rate Beer tasting. Poured a super murky brown color, light brown, dark cola. Super nice roast. Chocolate, smooth. Really nice. Rich. Some roast, sweet toffee. Alcohol is there, but it's really nice. Something of a throwback.
