Can at the June DC rate beer tasting. Poured a lightly hazy amber color with a medium-small very slightly off-white head. Aroma was big Sichuan peppers. Finish had some numbing notes. I actually kind of liked it, but I can totally see why people didn't enjoy it.

16oz can pours a murky amber with some white head. Nose definitely has pepper, some lime or keffir lime, paint, some spruce tips. Flavor have malt and caramel, peppercorns but candy too. A little bit, but it's very flabby.

It's like you don't add Sichuan peppers to a beer like an ESB. Tangy vegetables aroma. You don't get the novelty numbness. Pretty foul.
