A haze sets in on the harbour. Still, we find ourselves bound for the wharf - for labour, adventure, a fresh start.
Wharfbound hazy pale ale blends heritage English malts with Canadian 2-row barley and wheat and a healthy amount of flaked oats, layered upon several tidal charges of Citra and Simcoe in the whirlpool and double dry-hop.

On tap in St Stephen's. Pours a hazy murky electric yellow with a decent sized frothy white head. Big citrus and pine with bits of tropical and sweet bready malt. Really nice beer.

Tap at the Red Herring right across from the brewery. Pours hazey dried-wheat yellow, with persistent cream white head. Getting resin hops, tropical fruit and pepper in the nose. Taste is resin, a little pine, some peppery notes over a light hay malt. A lot going on here, but quite good.
