Bottle at the northern ontario beer fest. Copper pour, small off white head. Aroma is yeasty, quite a bit of caramel, and grassy hops, with hints of minereals. Standard mouth feel, and carb. Finish is very lightly bitter, with loads of bready caramel malts.

Bottle brought grom the brewery. Pours the clear copper that one would expect from the name, with some fairly persistent head that laces. You get a lot of bready malt in the nose, with a hit of spicy rye? The beer has a notable density to it. The taste delivers a lot of bready malt with a mild amount of sweetness, and an almond flavour that hints of that suspected rye. This is a pretty straightforward lager, but the brewers took come care to make more than a can-crusher. You might not be wowed, but your relative that rolls your eyes at your beer snobbery, and all those darn hoppy beers, will be pretty happy with it.
