A collab with Bretty Fingers from Torstuna, Sweden. This beer was boiled for three hours with wild harvested chaga mushrooms from Northern Sweden. Chaga is a fungus that grows on trees in northern climates, and imparts and earthy, vanilla and tea like aftertaste. This beer was fermented in Ontario red wine barrels with a mixture of wild yeast and bacteria from Sweden and Canada. Bright, funky, acidic, and earthy.

Sigh. Is RB done now? Untapped had 134 reviews on this, heck, even BeerAdvocateand one. I don't want badges, or awards, I want thoughtful options by my Ontario Beer Peoples whom I've learned to trust. Sigh. - - - This beer pours a beer-ad-perfect golden, with a little cloud, topped white head that's done but fast. Nose is funky socks, mild apples, and hay. Taste is a bright, tart Bretty acidity, unripe grapes, the wine barrel ages shines through, and a little mango. Really an excellent beer. Solid job B3.
