Pouring a beautiful light golden color, this Helles is heavenly. A soft sweetness greets you on the nose and continues on the palate. Hops provide just enough bitterness to balance the malty sweetness without being assertive. As the name implies, this one is incredibly easy to drink!

5 week old pint can A: Crystal clear rich gold with little head, retention or lacing. S: Fresh herbs, grass and hay with bread dough and a hint of caramel. T: Light but surprisingly bitter hops dry down to toasty and apple-y notes. Faint tartness at the end. M: Light, clean and very dry with prickly bubble scrub. O: Doesn't look like much but tasty and well balanced with a nice array of flavors. Great spring beer.
