On tap at Brick Farm Tavern in Hopewell, NJ. Slightly hazy, mahogany brown color with reddish highlights. Creamy tan head. Earthy toasted malt aroma. Tangy, bittersweet toasted malt flavor has toffee and spicy, piney hop notes. Resiny and peppery. Sticky mouthfeel. Long bitter finish and aftertaste.

Draft at Paragon, 6/29/23. Pours darker orange, with a beige head. Strong caramel malt and earthy aroma with plenty of grapefruit hop goodness, and some pine too. Drinks malty and hoppy, like what we used to call an East Coast IPA back in the pre-haze days. Well made and tasty. The rare intentionally malt forward IPA in 2023.

Lousy if this is supposed to be a west coast IPA, great if it’s supposed to be an English IPA. Thanks NFB.
