Although it calls itself "International Pale Ale", this delicious and aromatic ale is not hoppy enough to fit the profile. We are US importers of the beer and working with the brewery to rebrand Aurea as "Iberian Golden Ale" - light, bright, superbly aromatic with strong notes of green guava, ripe melon, muscatel grapes with creamy yet prickling effervescence. Delicious Ale but not an APA or an IPA. Available in USA through Shelton Brothers distributors in bottle and keg.

Hazy dark blond. Lots of tropical fruits in the aroma. Light, fresh, clean IPA. Easy to drink and refreshing.

Botella de 33 cl. tomada en marzo de 2011. Lote 1a02/15031 hasta 12/2011 Una ipa sencilla con aromas y sabores ligeramente afrutados, y maltosos. Cuerpo ligero a medio con 6 vol. Ligero amargo final. Se podría repetir si no hay otra opción.

Hazy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of hops, funk, cheese, quite herbal. Sweet flavour, light hops, yeast. Yeasty finish, apricot, hint of bitter hops. Decent brew!

Bottle shared by Martinus @ weekly tasting. Hazy pale yellow color, medium to full sized a bit soapy white head. Smell malts, slightly yeasty, a touch of herbs or spices. Taste lightly malts, a touch of citrus, slightly yeasty. Medium body and carbonation. Quite decent.

Bottle @ joes thx to martinus. Hazy pale yellow colour with a medium sized white head. Smells musty, cheese. Tastes sweet, Belgian yeast, herbs and spices, apricot, watery. Thin body, aoft but fizzy carbo.

Bottled 330ml. -from Cervezorama 2.0 Madrid. Cloudy orange/golden coloured, big white head, grapefruity hoppy nose. Quite bitter grassy and grapefruity taste with some strange root vegetables notes in the finish. Interesting and different but unfortunately pretty average.

2016 rating. Thanks Višnja & Goran, shared with Hrabren and them. Yellow golden body with a small whtie head. Berries and elderflower in the aroma. Malty taste, light berry, mint, a husky touch or two, solid bitterness. Quite interesting. Clean unlike last time. Good beer. 2013 rating. Ogi & Maja’s, thanks! Poured a murky ochre body witha huge white head. Slightly fishy but still nice aroma hops in the nose, mild, sweetish, light honey.... Taste... ugh, not as good. As Maja put it "root vegetables", mainly my nemesis beets or carrots... there’s notes of elder in there and they are quite nice, but the beety yeasty hints knock it down a little. Shame, has potential. 7/3/6/3/13

Bottle from Teddybeer, many thanks. Hazy golden color with huge white head. Aroma of piney hops, grapefruit, orange, some bitterness. Taste, malt, some herbs, oranges, grapefruit, grapefruit zest, piney hops. Hoppy finish. Tasty, much better than Europa.
