Abstract Revolution is a highly stylistic and aromatic Imperial IPA that was brewed as a tribute to A Tribe Called Quest, one of the most talented and influential groups of MCs and pioneers of hip-hop ???.

Abstract Revolution was hopped in the whirlpool with Cashmere, Waimea, and HBC 586, a new experimental hop varietal that provides notes of sweet fruits, fresh citrus, and touch of herbal spice. We then dry hopped this hazy and harmonious IPA two separate times during active fermentation with more Cashmere, Waimea, and HBC 586.

This ultra fragrant brew is easy drinking and flows over the palate like Phife Dawg on a funky old school beat, leaving trace amounts of bitterness in its wake. Expect a soft, gentle, medium-bodied mouthfeel followed by a fruit-forward,(hip)hop flavored finish.

We get notes of sweet tropical fruits, soft ripened summer melons, herbal spice, fresh citrus, juicy peach, resinous pine, pomelo, and Rio Red grapefruit.

16 oz can from The Source, 4/24/21. Hazy orange, white head, plenty of lace. Melon, lots of grapefruit and bitter rind. Moderately sweet, moderately dry. Tasty.
