Chaz 1 is Charlie’s fond look back at his past while forging full sail towards the future. An easy drinker, this Red IPA finds the ideal balance between a delightful bite of hops and well-rounded malt notes. Nugget, Simcoe, and Cascade bring earthy pine to the foreground while Red X works with a myriad of other malts to create a symposium of flavors for the backbone of this perfect Springtime beer.

16 oz can from the brewery, 4/13/21. Pours a clear dark amber color with a sheeting beige head that leaves a ton of lace on the glass. Nice bread / spice / caramel flavors to go along with the bright pine, earth, subtle grapefruit, and just a hint of . Really nice mix of flavors here. Nicely hits a style void that clearly exists in craft beer in 2021, with Nugget Nectar season being over and Winter YuleSmith something I never see these days, I could use a beer like this around my house.
