On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very rustic indeed, with rustic farmhouse notes, spicy yeast, and crackery malt. Flavour is very crisp and spicy, with lots of crisp spicy yeasty notes, a nice herbal quality, and crisp crackery malt. Bone dry, with a lovely astringency. Excellent.

Gusher on opening. Cloudy medium orange with a huge white head that hangs around and leaves tons of lace. Nose is yeast and pepper along with some light grain. Lightly sweet with a dominant spice and light bitterness. Medium- mouth with prickly carbonation.

On tap at Novare Res, Portland, Maine. A hazy, golden beer with a dense, finger-thick light beige head. The aroma is quite fruity, with a grassy, peppery touch. Peaches. There’s some bitterness in the flavor, along with what’s known from the aroma. It’s super smooth, semi dry and with a pleasant carbonation. Full to medium body. Lasting fruity finish. Feels a bit sweet this one, good thing it isn’t, and it’s a very easy drinkable beer. 150609

Saison Dunham, 2.50$ 5 oz a cloudy orange-gold. Funk, musty wine like plus pine, some spice. Bitter funk, much more citrus forward in a snifter. Smooth bodied, like a Belgian beer it is tart musty almost lambic like.
