Draft @ ML Fontainas, 3ième fête de la St Jean, shared with Rlgk and _Angst_.

Keg at RB Best, 31/01/16. Pale golden blonde with a well appointed off white cap. Nose is lemon rind, yeast trace, pissy orange, straw, light spice. Taste comprises tangy citric shreds, funk bite, damp hay, light peppery spice, yeast esters, candied fruit peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough saison.

Cloudy, thick head, rocky. Fruity, dusty nose is saisonish, with earthy continental hops. Bitter, with a slight pale malt sweetness, some yeasty character and a lingering bitter finish.

Bottledshared during the RateBeer Best awards ceremony bottle share. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a creamy, white head. The aroma holds dry dough, light biscuits, hay. Light sweet flavour with notes of pale grains, lemon rind, more biscuits, light bitter hay and straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with some husky grains, impressions of lemon, dried pale bread. Good stuff overall.

Pour @ RateBeer Best Festival. Hazy light yellow appearance with an off white head. Aroma had a lot of grassy hops, some hay / straw, light pepper, and some lemon. Moderate to moderate high bitterness. Dry. Nice carbonation. Lightly fruity, very herbal, and a bit spicy saison. Easy to drink and refreshing. I enjoyed the hops on this.
