This medium-bodied, chestnut-colored British-style ale is brewed with coffee for added flavor and complexity. Dark crystal malt from England and Horizon hops round out this remarkable brew.

Served on cask at the Top of the Hops Beer Festival, Charlottesville, 9/11/10. Pours a thin looking milky brown color with nearly no head. Very much mud-like. The aroma is thankfully much better than the beer looks, though it is somewhat one note, as a nice sweet coffee dominates everything else in the aroma. The taste is a bit more complex, with coffee, caramel, citrus hops and faint chocolate. Medium bodied. Looks like hell, but still a pretty nice beer.
