Cask at Whole Foods Market Charlottesville, VA. Pours a hazy dark brown color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of wood, a slightly medicinal quality, toffee, a faintly smoky note and strawberries in the finish. The taste is vanilla, toffee, ginger, wood, strawberries, chocolate, toasted malts and a mildly hoppy finish. Smooth, medium bodied. Very nice.
