Oak and warm bourbon on the nose. Cloudy amber, thin head. Tart apricot flavor, subtle pear underneath. Medium body, appropriate and pleasant warmth. Not as complex as I expected from such an eclectic brew, but it is very enjoyable. A nice night cap beer.

Growler from the brewpub, 11/21/13. Pours a hazy pink color with a thin frothy white head. Good head retention, nice lacing. Aroma of wood, whiskey, cherries, citrus, mild wheat. The taste is tart cherries, whiskey, citrus, wood in the finish. Thin bodied, decent but somewhat juice-like. No heat.
