Copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee and citrus hops with a hint of diacetyl. Dry malty flavour with a tannic/husky bitterness.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium brown amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, light roasted. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO not much of black ipa about this beer ! [20110526]

Bottle.Dark brown colour with creamy beige head,who stays.Aroma is rosted bitter with citrus and licorice flavor,good mild bitter mouthfeels and crispy finish.

KØ11. Mild caramelly hop aroma. Almost clear chestnut colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is sweet and a bit papery.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma has strong notes of toffee and spicy hops, combined with medium notes of citrus fruits and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, nuts, spicy hops, and bread, leading to a bitter finish. The maltiness makes it almost chewy.

Copenhagen Beer Festival, 2011. Pours dark amber with a small off white head. Yeast, caramel, dust and grain. Medium bodied. Didn’t expect anything - still I am a bit disappointed. No fresh hops or nothing.

Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly deminishing head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Roast and hops present. Long nice heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and slight caramelish. Sweet caramelish. Bitter, caramelish and dry roasted malty. Dry and caramelish finish.
