Our seasonal winter warmer for 2015 is a Smoked Porter on steroids. A malty dark ale that exhibits smokiness with a complex and flavorful roasty character. Sitting by the fire dieting these cold winter months was the inspiration for this brew. But who needs a fire when you can drink beer?

Lots of smoke hides a bit of an unbalanced mess here. Pours black with good head and lacing. Some roast. Medium bitter finish with some sweetness and strange hint of tang. Thick consistency. Tap at brewpub.
