French Country Ale
Our Summit Amber is an old school amber brewed in a traditional French Biere de Garde style. We use malts from Malteries Franco Belges, and hops from Germany and Belgium to create a beer with a deep, warm color, bold sweetness up front and a finish reminiscent of a fine brandy. This beer is a favorite among those seeking a bigger, more complex beer.
Malts: Franco Belges Pilsner, Vienna and Cara Munich
Hops: Perle, Aurora

Some light citrus and a hint of basement musk. Pours hazy orange with great head and lacing. Light tangy finish with some hint of an acrid astringency. Tap at brewpub.

Tap. Pours hazy amber, medium creamy beige head, show to dissipate with nice lacing. Aroma is grassy, floral. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, grassy, floral, a bit of a weird note. Medium body.

Northeast Bucket List Trip Beer #24. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a thin fizzy head. Poor head retention. Aroma of caramel, nuts, mild butter. The taste is raisin, caramel, toffee. Thin bodied.
