Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruits, alcohol, malt, bread, and straw, leading to a dry, bitter, and bready finish.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange brown, thin beige head. Deep malty aroma, true to style, very nice. Big doughy Doppelbock, I’m diggin it. Malty, but not overloaded in thick specialty malts, lets the subtle yeast tones shine. Big caramel body. Solidly executed, an impressive offering.

Bottle at Freakin’ Frog in Las Vegas. The beer is a murky mahogany color with a medium tan head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, molasses and dark malt. Medium body with flavors of earthy malt, caramel and dark fruit. Faint hops in the background. The finish is sweet and malty with a ripe fruit aftertaste. Decent overall.
