The 2nd entry in the series, a Red IPA hybrid hopped solely with Mosaic hops, is medium-bodied and crisp, with flavor and aroma profiles dominated by big, vibrant citrus flavors like tangerine, apricot, and mango, accented by resinous notes of pine. These tart, sweet flavors give way to a lingering, bitter hop finish that combine to mask a moderately strong 6% ABV. Enter the continuum and explore the possibilities!

Copper and bronze tinted body with ruby highlights and notes of brown, all with a super dense five centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of deep toasted malt, some peat, nuts, earth and a good deal of hops - rather strong. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong malty flavour with toffee, earth, toast, grain, alcohol and hops all noticeable. Aftertaste is deep and strong with a lot of metal, some alcohol, toffee, earth, grain, caramel and hops of course. Overall, a decent beer, with perhaps too much malt and grain noticeable and way too much toffee and earth, but the hops show well, however the balance isnβt there. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Chantilly, Virginia on 02-August-2015 for US$2,15 sampled in the mountains of Shenendoah National Park on 19-September-2015.

12 ounce bottle from Midtowne Bottle Shop, 6/9/15. Clear copper, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of earthy, tropical, floral hops, caramel malt. The taste is herbal, piney hops, toffee malts, a medicinal note. Very dry. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.
