Cask at Whole Foods Charlottesville. Clear dark brown, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roasted malts, cinnamon, peppers, cherries. The taste is chocolate, roasted malts, tart cherries, sweet cherries, mild peppers in the finish. Medium bodied, lingering spice, low carbonation, well balanced. This was quite good.
