We wanted to make a Belgian Dubbel, but needed something a little more drinkable. So we backed the ABV down from the traditional 6-8% down to a sessionable 5.4%. Notes of plums, caramelized sugar.

Keg at the brewery, 12/21/16. Clear copper, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toffee, toasted malt, hints of stone fruit. The taste is toasted malt and stone fruit. Thin-medium bodied. 300th brown ale rating!
